Auf Wiedersehen Vienna

6 Dec

Our last day in Vienna (for Winter Waltz II) started with an exclusive tour of the imcomparable Musikverein, home of the Vienna Philharmonic, then a guided tour of the Vienna Fine Arts Museum, which ranks among the richest art collections in the world, on to Beethoven’s Pasqualati House where he is said to have composed his 4th, 5th, and 7th symphonies. And if the day was not rich enough, in the evening, we joined with Winter Waltz I for an intimate private concert at the Mozart House, followed by a traditional Viennese dinner in the historic esterhazy wine cellar, where Mozart, and Beethoven were regular customers.20111207-004553.jpg20111207-004658.jpg20111207-004704.jpg
